Grayling (Thymallus thymallus), the "Queen of the streams" is maybe the most popular species for flyfishing in Swedish Lapland. As for Trout the Grayling can be found throughout Swedish Lapland both in lakes and streams. In Lapland you can even fish for Grayling in the sea. Fishing season for Grayling is very long from early summer until the entrance of winter.

To register your trophy Grayling on this website, it must weigh at least 2,5 lb (1,1 kg) or measure min. 50 cm.
